Nothing. Every course, exam, and certificate on the catalog is free — including retakes. All you need is a free Safeguard account.

No. One free Safeguard account covers the Academy and the platform. You can take courses and earn certifications without ever being a paying customer.

None. The flagship course, Safeguard Certified Practitioner, is a beginner-level course — basic familiarity with how software is built helps, but every exam question is answerable from the lessons themselves.

The Safeguard Certified Practitioner exam is 30 questions drawn at random from a larger pool, 45 minutes, 70% to pass. Question types are multiple choice, multi-select (exact-match, no partial credit), and true/false. Grading is automatic and your result is available as soon as you submit.

You can retake it after a 24-hour cooldown, as many times as you need. Retakes are free, and each attempt draws a fresh random set of questions.

The Safeguard Certified Practitioner credential is valid for 24 months from issue. The expiry date is printed on the certificate and shown live on its public verification page. Renewing means passing the current exam again.

Every certificate has a public page at academy.safeguard.sh/cert/<id> — open the link or scan the QR code on the printed certificate. The page shows the credential's live status (valid, expired, or revoked), so it can't go stale the way a PDF can. No account is needed to check it, and you can add the credential to LinkedIn in one click.

Safeguard (Safeguard.sh Inc), the AI-native software supply chain security platform. The Academy uses the same accounts as the product, and certificates are issued and verified by the platform itself.

The Academy interface is available in English and Hindi — switch anytime from the header. Course content is currently in English, with translation infrastructure in place for more languages.

Yes. The Academy is built mobile-first: lessons, community threads, live events, and exams all work in a phone browser.

Both. Courses can have human tutors and an AI tutor; you can also raise doubts in the course community, where tutors and fellow learners answer and you accept the best answer. AI-generated responses are always labeled as AI.
