About this course

Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 attaches obligations to AI systems and to the roles organisations play as providers and deployers, on a timeline that runs from February 2025 to August 2027. This course teaches the Act's structure, prohibited practices, high-risk classification and the Chapter III obligations, then shows how to build the AI inventory with AI-BOM discovery, record classification decisions in the Risks and Evidence tabs, and evidence oversight, logging and cybersecurity with Safeguard's AI security capabilities.

What are the prerequisites?

What happens if I fail the exam?

You can retake it after a 24-hour cooldown, as many times as you need. Retakes are free, and each attempt draws a fresh random set of questions.

How long is a certificate valid?

The Safeguard Certified Practitioner credential is valid for 24 months from issue. The expiry date is printed on the certificate and shown live on its public verification page. Renewing means passing the current exam again.
