Awarded for completing Vulnerability Exploitability eXchange as Customer Communication and passing its exam, demonstrating the ability to write exploitability statements for the parties who actually receive them, apply a written evidence bar proportionate to the risk each status transfers, draft justifications that a customer's security team can rely on and defend, bound scope across product identity, version range, configuration and deployment mode, recognise the product changes that invalidate a published statement, operate a statement register with ageing and ownership, execute a retraction without compounding the error, divide the work between automation and human judgement, and measure the effect on customer support load.
Certificates are designed to be checked, not just displayed.
The credential is valid for 12 months from issue. Its public page states the expiry date, and renewing means passing the current exam again — so the credential always reflects the current material.
