Awarded for completing The Safeguard Integrated Development Environment Extension and passing its exam, demonstrating the ability to reason about what an editor check can and cannot see, make a workspace trust decision, establish what data leaves a machine, diagnose which permission layer is refusing an action, tune findings without silencing the tool, and roll the extension out across Visual Studio Code, JetBrains and Open VSX editors.
Certificates are designed to be checked, not just displayed.
The credential is valid for 12 months from issue. Its public page states the expiry date, and renewing means passing the current exam again — so the credential always reflects the current material.
