Awarded for completing Session Management Fundamentals and passing its exam, demonstrating the ability to explain what a session is and how its identifier should be generated, recognize and defend against session fixation, configure secure cookie attributes correctly, design sound timeout and invalidation behavior, reason about concurrent session policy, and validate a session consistently across a distributed architecture.
Certificates are designed to be checked, not just displayed.
The credential is valid for 12 months from issue. Its public page states the expiry date, and renewing means passing the current exam again — so the credential always reflects the current material.
