Awarded for completing Security Programme Maturity Models and passing its exam, demonstrating the ability to explain what a maturity model assesses and its limits, apply a generic level progression without over relying on any single named framework, weight capability areas against actual organisational risk, recognise and correct for self assessment bias, build a persuasive maturity gap based case for a non-technical stakeholder, use peer benchmarking carefully given its comparability limits, and run re-assessment on a cadence that can actually demonstrate progress over time.
Certificates are designed to be checked, not just displayed.
The credential is valid for 12 months from issue. Its public page states the expiry date, and renewing means passing the current exam again — so the credential always reflects the current material.
