Awarded for completing Security Logging and Audit Trail Fundamentals and passing its exam, demonstrating the ability to decide deliberately what security relevant events to log, keep sensitive data out of logs, apply tamper evident and centralized logging practices, set a defensible retention policy, correlate identity across a distributed system's logs, use logs responsibly as evidence during an incident, and state honestly what a logging program does and does not capture.
Certificates are designed to be checked, not just displayed.
The credential is valid for 12 months from issue. Its public page states the expiry date, and renewing means passing the current exam again — so the credential always reflects the current material.
