Awarded for demonstrating command of secure defaults in service templates and scaffolding: choosing what belongs in a template and what must never be hard coded, designing a default that resists accidental removal while remaining cheap to override deliberately, versioning and stamping generated output, measuring the template version distribution across an estate, propagating a correction into services already generated, and testing the template itself.
Certificates are designed to be checked, not just displayed.
The credential is valid for 12 months from issue. Its public page states the expiry date, and renewing means passing the current exam again — so the credential always reflects the current material.
