Awarded for completing Secrets Committed to Git History: Discovery and Remediation and passing its exam, demonstrating the ability to discover secrets across a repository's full history, triage them by validity and blast radius, and remediate them in the correct order, rotation first, with history rewriting treated as a separate, deliberate decision.
Certificates are designed to be checked, not just displayed.
The credential is valid for 12 months from issue. Its public page states the expiry date, and renewing means passing the current exam again — so the credential always reflects the current material.
