Awarded for completing Scanner False Positive Triage and Noise Reduction and passing its exam, demonstrating the ability to distinguish a false positive from a suppression, recognise the false positive patterns specific to static analysis, dependency and secrets scanning, apply reachability analysis to resolve a judgement call, document a determination a future reviewer can verify, build a durable and correctly scoped tuning rule, and track false positive rate as an ongoing scanner health metric.
Certificates are designed to be checked, not just displayed.
The credential is valid for 12 months from issue. Its public page states the expiry date, and renewing means passing the current exam again — so the credential always reflects the current material.
