Awarded for completing Provenance of Generated Code and passing its exam, demonstrating the ability to separate the legal, engineering, incident and regulatory provenance questions and design a different record for each; to rank the available signals by the weight they will bear; to explain why per line attribution of edited code does not exist and to refuse a proportion figure without losing the room; to specify capture at the moment of authorship with confidence levels, coverage and retention set against a named question; and to run an investigation and write a policy that produce bounded, honest records rather than confident wrong ones.
Certificates are designed to be checked, not just displayed.
The credential is valid for 12 months from issue. Its public page states the expiry date, and renewing means passing the current exam again — so the credential always reflects the current material.
