Awarded for completing PKI and Certificate Lifecycle Management and passing its exam, demonstrating the ability to reason about a chain of trust, design and monitor automated certificate issuance and renewal, evaluate when an internal certificate authority and mutual authentication are appropriate, apply proportional private key protection across root, intermediate, and leaf keys, and use certificate transparency monitoring as a detective control.
Certificates are designed to be checked, not just displayed.
The credential is valid for 12 months from issue. Its public page states the expiry date, and renewing means passing the current exam again — so the credential always reflects the current material.
