Awarded for completing Managing End-of-Life and Legacy Components and passing its exam, demonstrating the ability to identify end-of-life risk proactively, apply compensating controls as a temporary bridge rather than a permanent fix, build and maintain a prioritised end-of-life inventory, and make a funding case for replacement using a defensible cost of deferral model.
Certificates are designed to be checked, not just displayed.
The credential is valid for 12 months from issue. Its public page states the expiry date, and renewing means passing the current exam again — so the credential always reflects the current material.
