Awarded for completing IEC 62443 for Industrial Automation and Control Systems and passing its exam, demonstrating the ability to allocate responsibility between asset owner, integrator and product supplier, draw zones and conduits for a plant that already exists, set and justify a target security level per zone, specify and evaluate a product supplier's security claims, and run patching, change and evidence in an environment where availability and safety constrain what may be changed.
Certificates are designed to be checked, not just displayed.
The credential is valid for 12 months from issue. Its public page states the expiry date, and renewing means passing the current exam again — so the credential always reflects the current material.
