Awarded for completing The First Hundred Days: Inheriting a Security Function and passing its exam, demonstrating the ability to set the terms of a handover period, run a listening tour that produces evidence rather than opinion, catalogue inherited commitments and raise a broken one safely, verify a small number of controls personally, distinguish a paper control from a failed one, handle burnout and concentrated knowledge in an inherited team, separate what must be fixed now from what belongs in a plan, and present an evidenced assessment and a first funding request that can be agreed.
Certificates are designed to be checked, not just displayed.
The credential is valid for 12 months from issue. Its public page states the expiry date, and renewing means passing the current exam again — so the credential always reflects the current material.
