Awarded for completing The Dependencies an Assistant Chooses For You and passing its exam, demonstrating the ability to evaluate an assistant suggested dependency for maintenance, advisory history, licence and transitive weight, to recognise deprecated framework patterns and non package alternatives, and to build the conventions, allowlists and pipeline automation that make sound dependency selection the default in an engineering organisation.
Certificates are designed to be checked, not just displayed.
The credential is valid for 12 months from issue. Its public page states the expiry date, and renewing means passing the current exam again — so the credential always reflects the current material.
