Awarded for completing Crisis Communication for Leaders During a Security Incident and passing its exam, demonstrating the ability to write a first internal message that is usable and durable, communicate honestly under genuine uncertainty, distinguish an update from a commitment before sending, sequence six audiences deliberately and compress the window in which one learns from another, strike the phrases that convert absence of evidence into a claim about the world, rebuild a weak internal update and a weak customer notification, work with counsel to keep substance rather than surrendering it, match channel to what each recipient has to do next, correct a published statement in the order that preserves trust, and prepare the roles, templates, wording agreements and contact data before the day they are needed.
Certificates are designed to be checked, not just displayed.
The credential is valid for 12 months from issue. Its public page states the expiry date, and renewing means passing the current exam again — so the credential always reflects the current material.
