Awarded for completing Building a Security Roadmap Engineering Will Accept and passing its exam, demonstrating the ability to derive roadmap candidates from risk and constraint, size work end to end including the cost other teams carry and the permanent run cost, sequence against another organisation's planning cycle and release calendar, negotiate a significant claim on engineering capacity and record the outcome honestly, replan after an incident without pretending the plan survived, decline a proposal of their own in public, and keep a delivered programme owned, verified and retired rather than silently accumulating.
Certificates are designed to be checked, not just displayed.
The credential is valid for 12 months from issue. Its public page states the expiry date, and renewing means passing the current exam again — so the credential always reflects the current material.
